Thanksgiving Countdown Day Five: Five Thanksgiving Host and Hostess Gift Ideas

Thanksgiving is three days away, and I thought that I would share some great host/hostess gifts for those of you out there who are lucky enough to not worry about Thanksgiving because someone else in your life decided to take on the challenge of making Thanksgiving dinner so you don't have to.

1.) Bring a bottle or two of wine. This tried and true go to will have the host or hostess feel like they matter, and it won't break the bank for those of you on a budget.
2.) Bring a candle. With Christmas on its way, a holiday scented candle will help your host or hostess get ready for the holidays, and it's one of those gifts, like wine, that are budget friendly.
3.) Bring a serving kit or tray. More than likely, the host or hostess of your Thanksgiving loves to entertain, and a serving kit or tray will help them do more entertaining in the future.
4.) Take fresh flowers or a plant along with you. If your host or hostess has a green thumb, a houseplant will be up there alley. If not, just bring fresh flowers that they can put in their home for a few days to add some color and fragrance. This gift is another one that doesn't break the bank.
5.)  Last but not least, make a gift basket. What are your favorite things? Whatever they are, put them in a basket, and tie a ribbon on it to make your host or hostess feel like you appreciate the hard work that they did. Don't know what to put in the basket? Try a movie, a nice towel set, or some freshly baked goods.
