The resounding answer, to me, is NO. The picture taking should have waited after the event was over, or, more appropriately waited until the Obamas and Thorning-Schmidt were in a private place. No one should ever be snapping photos of oneself at a funeral. It's downright rude.
In defense of Obama though, the body language in his pics looked like he was becoming annoyed because Thorning -Schmidt was the one who wanted to take selfie after selfie. He didn't want to be rude, so he obliged so I find him to be lesser at fault than his picture taking counterpart. Nevertheless, I find that taking pics at people's funerals is something that should never occur. What do you think? Voice your opinion below.
