Who said beer was bad for you? Well they never heard this true and unusual story that happened in Houston this week. According to NBC, a delivery truck caught fire on the side of the road, and an off duty firefighter who was driving by with his wife pulled over to help. When they couldn't extinguish the flames with a regular fire extinguisher, they acted fast and grabbed some beer (It happened to be Coors Banquet) from inside the truck. Using the beer, they put out the fire and cooled the breaks of the 18-wheeler down before calling it a day. No one was harmed, but all involved left with a story to tell. Cheers to that!
