Not surprisingly, she has amassed a gay following in her journey to bring delicious food and great ideas to America. Here are five reasons to love her.

1.) She doesn't only know how to make delicious cookies. She is one smart cookie. Before becoming a chef, Garten worked at The White House on nuclear energy policy. Now tell me another Food Network start who did that?

2.) Her relationship with her husband Jeffrey is adorable! The two have been together since college. She made his brownies to vie for his affections. Things haven't changed much since then as they seem even more in love than those kids you see,  blinded by love, sharing ice cream at your local college campus. They're cute I tell, you! Cute!

3.) Her food is for everybody. From time to time, you'll watch the show and think things like, "Truffle butter again? Where do I get that?" Yet, she recently came out with a great solution for you if you have those thoughts. She has recently launched a line of frozen meals for people who don't have the time to cook.
