Helping Out: Singer Pharrell Comes Out For Marriage Equality On "Ellen"

     Pharrell Williams is having one great year.  His song "Happy" has taken the nation  by storm, and it even earned him an Oscar nod. Now, he is lending his voice to issues that are important to him, equality for women and GLBT people. He stopped by "Ellen" this week, and besides talking about how he's so busy he didn't realize he was nominated for nine Billboard Awards, he stated how absurd it is that GLBT people have less rights than others in this day and age. It's great to see this talented guy has our back, and I wish him much success in the years to come.
